An accident involving four tractor-trailers, one pickup truck, and an SUV caused a two-hour closure of the New Jersey Turnpike as authorities investigated the cause of the crash. According to sources familiar with the case, slippery road conditions and stop-start traffic contributed to the chain-reaction collision that sent two to the hospital.
