An 18-year-old Hillsdale driver and his two juvenile passengers rolled over at 3:18 p.m. Tuesday on Oak Trail Road.
Preliminary police investigation reports suggest that the driver was speeding through the quiet neighborhood when he rounded a bend too quickly and was forced to slam on the brakes to avoid colliding with a wood chipper. He then lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a nearby parked car before jumping the curb and rolling over onto the lawn of a private residence.
Though uninjured, the occupants were partially trapped in the overturned vehicle. They managed to extricate themselves by the time that authorities arrived. Police charged the 18-year-old with reckless driving and speeding.
While nobody was harmed in this accident, reckless and speeding drivers are a major danger on the road. If you or someone you love has been injured by a speeding driver, contact the New Jersey speeding accident lawyers of Levinson Axelrod, P.A. at 800-346-5529 today.
