The accident happened around 11:30 a.m.  on the southbound lane of Interstate 91. His car struck another car from behind. The other driver was taken to Baystate Medical Center with minor injuries. The 29-year-old man died at the scene of the accident. The Interstate was closed for four hours after the accident.
