New Jersey State Police have unveiled a new plan to combat truck-car accidents on the state’s highways. The program will feature a combination of education and enforcement, and aims to drastically reduce accidents between semi trucks and cars, which are often fatal due to the size discrepancy. The New Jersey car accident attorneys at the Law Office of Levinson Axelrod can help you fight for justice if you’ve been injured in an automobile accident.

New Jersey is one of 15 states taking part in the federal program, called the Ticketing Aggressive Cars and Trucks program. The state has been funded with an $800,000 government grant to run the program from December to September of 2010.
