A New Jersey man is dead after falling out of the back of a horse trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike. A 28-year-old man hit a woman on her bicycle at 6:00 in the evening on Monday, apparently because he was distracted by the text messages he was sending about a drug deal. The woman sustained head injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. She is currently listed in stable condition.
Police say they found illegal prescription drugs in the man’s car, which they are prosecuting him for. They say they will also charge him for the collision.

Police are investigating what caused a multi-vehicle accident which trapped a driver between two trucks.
